In a statement to IGN, Nintendo have announced that sales of the Nes Classic Edition are to cease. It seems that Nintendo never meant for the console to be a long term thing.
Personally I think this is a bad move considering the amount of interest in Retro gaming that there is at the moment. Compared to the original machine the Nes Classic is dinky in size, has a good selection of games to play & is ideal for all the family.
I’ve read that production isn’t ceasing in Japan entirely but western gamers like myself will be missing out.
Buy one whilst you still can.
